Between March 2025 and February 2027, Transylvania University in Brașov, through its Faculty of Sociology and Communication and Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, will host activities related to the Survive: Stories of Women and Children's Resilience in World War II project, project number 101196187 — SURVIVE — CERV-2024-CITIZENS-REM (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61576017189171) .

The project highlights the different forms of resilience of women in the totalitarian regimes of the 20th century, which signaled the fragility of democracy and the danger of disrupting the European system of values.

The project activities will take place in turn in the countries of the partner institutions, Italy, Poland, and Latvia.
